Charlotte
Butter

Etiquette Consultant & Coach

"Etiquette is not a set of rules.
It is the quiet language
of consideration."

Trained by

Debrett's, the authority on etiquette, protocol, and professional conduct since 1769.

About

Charlotte Butter works with anyone who wishes to feel more confident, considered, and at ease in the way they present themselves, whether stepping into a new professional environment, hosting at the highest level, or simply looking to sharpen the skills that make a lasting impression.

Her foundation is classical. Trained by Debrett's, she brings a deep understanding of British protocol and the formal traditions that underpin much of how the world still operates at its upper registers. Her practice has been built equally in the field: twelve years in luxury, working at the highest levels of UHNWI clienteling and client relations, delivering etiquette training across corporations, and leading the modernisation of hosting, partnerships, and events at The Crown Jeweller.

What distinguishes her approach is the refusal to leave tradition exactly as she found it. Every element of Charlotte's coaching has been considered, tested, and adapted for the way people actually live and work today, across cultures, industries, and contexts.

She works with individuals and businesses across the UK, US, and EMEA. Engagements are private, tailored, and handled with complete discretion.

Background

Grounded in
tradition.
Built for today.

Charlotte's practice draws on a rare combination: the formal rigour of Debrett's Debrett's Trained and over a decade of working at the intersection of luxury, international clientele, and brand.

For twelve years she worked within the luxury sector, most significantly at The Crown Jeweller, where she led the modernisation of client experience through hosting, partnerships, and events. She developed and delivered etiquette training across corporate teams, and built relationships with UHNWI clients and organisations across the UK, US, and EMEA.

Recognised with a British Empire Medal BEM, Charlotte brings an understanding of formal environments that goes well beyond theoretical knowledge. She has operated within them, and she knows precisely what it takes to feel at home in them.

The result is a coaching practice that respects what has endured for good reason, and quietly dispenses with what has not. Practical. Current. And always personal.

"The very best etiquette coaching is invisible. You simply find yourself feeling — and being — entirely at ease."
